There’s no arguing about it, but HP literally started a frenzy by announcing the reduced price for its HP TouchPad – thus, forcing some of the competition to consider lowering their prices in the meantime.
Well folks, if you happen to live in the UK and want a compact sized Android tablet, then you might want to take a gander at the deal that Best Buy UK is having for a limited time. Now until September 21st, they’re selling the solidly built HTC Flyer Wi-Fi for the sale price of £329.99, which is a £150 savings from its usual £479.99 original price point. Unlikely to set off a frenzied chain reaction like the TouchPad, it’ll still prove to be an attractive offering for those unwilling to pick up something larger in screen size.
Let’s hope we continue to see more sales on other tablets as the summer winds down and opens up to the busy fall season. With so many companies planning on announcing new product in the near future, especially HTC, we’re confident to see pricing reduced with existing models.
