Best Buy Mobile launches mIQ mobile backup service
Cloud services are slowly rising in use among mobile phone users; especially those with smartphones. Maybe you're the type of person that constantly uses a different phone each day and cringe whenever you have to manually type in your contacts? Best Buy Mobile is now offering their own mIQ service that will sync up your contacts, text messages, calendar, social networking data, and even media files like photos and videos. Not all devices are compatible with the service – it's currently being supported on platforms like BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and Symbian S60 handsets. In addition to all those items that can be synchronized, they're even giving users 1GB of storage for data use for free to use. It's scheduled to launch October 12 and service is free as long as you purchase a smartphone from the big box retailer as part of their walk out working campaign. So if typing up all those contacts isn't worth the time for you, just check Best Buy Mobile's mIQ service for a quick and simple solution.
