TELUS customers can smell the aroma of the soon to be available BlackBerry Pearl 3G as it appears that Best Buy stores in Canada are offering preorders for the handset. Similar to what is done here in the US for most of the big name phones, customers can put down $50 for a preorder on the unit which then would be transferred onto a gift card that's to be used later for the complete purchase. Unfortunately there is still no definitive word on the exact date of when the smartphone is expected to be released, but there were “coming soon” notes being displayed for the BlackBerry Pearl 3G. It sounds like the device will be offered in black and pink with pricing set for $29.99 with a 3-year contract and $449.99 for a no-contract price.
