One cable for all! Belkin's 10K Boost Charge power bank is the first with an MFi Lightning port

Portable power banks with wireless charging might be all the rage these days, but in reality, there is a huge amount of the energy that goes into the ether while charging, they are bulkier, and you need to align your phone very particularly on them to initiate and keep on charging.

What's left to charge on the go then? Well, bulky battery cases or the good ol' cabled power banks, which are getting slimmer and more convenient by the day, as manufacturers are trying to free us from carrying more cables around.

Case in point is Belkin's new BOOST CHARGE Power Bank 10K with Lightning Connector. Its motto is "charge like lightning with lightning," as, you guessed it, it is the first one with an MFi-certified Lightning port input that will let you pack one less cable in your backpack. The port allows you to charge both your 10,000 mAh Belkin power bank now, as well as your iPhone and iPad with the same cable.

The Power Bank with Lightning Connector is pretty compact, at 154.45 x 71.00 x 17.00 mm, and lightweight, but, needless to say, you better have a fast charger plugged in to top the 10,000 mAh capacity of the bank up. Belkin asks $59.99 for it, and it is up for preorder in black or white, for those who think it is a good idea to leave a cable behind when traveling.
