Barnes & Noble's Nook eReader app is expanded to the iPhone
Book loving readers be prepared because Barnes & Noble is expanding their popular eReader app to the iPhone, and naturally Apple's iPod touch as well. The recent addition will supplement existing apps already available on the iPad, PC, and Android powered devices. Plus, it now enables for a last-page-read synchronization across all platforms – so you'll never miss a beat with the last place you read. Additionally, you can expect to find various new reading preference settings which will allow you to change the theme so that it'll provide for the most optimal reading experience. So that means no more straining your eyes at night when you're trying to read something in the dark since the themes will be conducive to either day or night time settings. Luckily for the iPad, Barnes & Noble is treating the app with a new rating feature. Naturally it was only time before we saw an app become available for the iPhone, especially when the iPhone 4's Retina Display makes for one of the most detailed screens out there – thus allowing for some clear and distinct text; perfect for the casual book reader.
