Back cover of unannounced Meizu m2 surfaces in leaked images
Photos leaked today show the back of what is allegedly the Meizu m2. This is the sequel to the Meizu m1 that was released earlier this year with a 5-inch 768 x 1280 resolution glass, powered by the MediaTek MT6732 SoC. The latter features a quad-core 1.5GHz CPU and the Mali-T760 GPU. Judging from the pictures, the Meizu m2 will have the same glossy plastic back found on the m1.
The m2 is rumored to be equipped with a 4.6-inch screen, but with a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6753 chipset which contains an octa-core CPU and the Mali-T720 MP3 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of internal storage. Flyme OS, based on Android 5.1, is pre-installed
Meizu has an event scheduled for June 30th. We expect to see the Meizu MX5 flagship model unveiled at that time. But looking at the leaked photos, we also could be hearing about the Meizu m2 during the event.
