A couple of months ago, BLU Products - a manufacturer known for their production of budget-oriented entry-level to mid-range smartphones -
announced that it'll be entering the Windows Phone market with their own device loaded with Windows Phone 8.1. Come last month's Computex event – BLU announced not one, but two devices.
The 2 models heavily resemble the Android-loaded
Dash 4.0 and
Dash 5.0, only this time around - they come in a variety of bright colors. The latter has been reported to sport a 5-inch display with a resolution of 480x854, a 1.3GHz dual-core CPU, 512MB RAM and dual-SIM support.
Its smaller sibling is speculated to carry similar specs to the Dash 4 - a 4-inch display, 480x800 resolution, 4GB of internal storage, 5MP rear camera, dual-core 1.3GHz CPU and a 1500mAh battery.
The phones are due for release some time in 2014 with BLU and Microsoft planning to sell them through Microsoft Store. Rumored prices are $99 for the 4" and $199 for the 5" models with no contract.
