Attention! Do not steal cell phones in Somalia
In most countries, if you get caught pinching things, you may be brought to trial and eventually, end up behind bars. Somalian militants, however, seem to have resorted to tougher measures to crack down on thieves, coming up with drastic corporal punishment. How does chopping off limbs with a machete in public sound to you? We are not kidding at all! This is what happened to four teens, charged with stealing cell phones... and firearms. Severe punishment! The nipped handsets must have been iPhone 3GS or Palm Pre units or, perhaps, prototypes of devices that are yet to be announced.
