At least one U.K. Apple Store sells out of the Apple iPhone 5s
Just a few days ago,, there was talk that the Apple iPhone 5s was going to be hard to find on launch day because of a couple of rumored production problems with the fingerprint sensor and the camera. Add to that the lack of a pre-order period for the full-featured iPhone, and demand for the Apple iPhone 5s was bound to be extraordinary today.
According to a tweet sent out by Macworld staff writer Ashleigh Allsopp, at least one U.K. Apple Store was sold out of the iPhone 5s just 30 minutes after putting it up for sale. At this Regent Street location, a sign has already been put up at the front of the store that reads "Due to the popularity of iPhone 5s, we've sold out today."
The good news is that the device is expected back in stock on Monday at the Regent Street Apple Store, in all colors. Still, they suggest you call ahead at 9am to make sure.
