Asus ZenPad Z8 is getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update at Verizon

The LTE-enabled Asus ZenPad Z8 made its debut at Verizon last year, and it's still available for purchase for $249.99 outright or $79.99 with a new two-year agreement.

The latest news related to Asus' tablet confirm Verizon has already kicked off the Android 7.0 Nougat roll-out for the ZenPad Z8, which is supposed to breath new life into the tablet.

The carrier announced software version V5.4.1 is now available for its own branded Asus ZenPad tablet, which will update it to Android 7.0 Nougat. An in-depth changelog has been published on Verizon's support page, so for more details on what the update brings, make sure to check the source link.

The most important new features added are the multi-window mode, improved notification settings, quick settings enhancements, better settings navigation, Data Saver, and enhanced Doze mode.
