Deal: Unlocked Asus ZenFone Zoom now costs $199
Released back in February in the US, the Asus ZenFone Zoom is an unusual smartphone, a it's offering a 13 MP rear camera with 3x optical zoom. As you probably know, apart from the iPhone 7 Plus (which has a rear camera with 2x optical zoom), there's no other new, or relatively new smartphone to feature optical zoom.

Originally priced at $399, the ZenFone Zoom can now be bought for just $199 via major US retailers (see the source links below). It looks like this deal ends in 4 days, so you may want to hurry up if you think you need a ZenFone Zoom at this price. The handset is unlocked, comes with US warranty, and can be used on GSM/LTE carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile, but it won't work on Verizon and Sprint.

Granted, even with 3x optical zoom, this isn't an impressive smartphone. However, for $199, it's offering plenty of attractive features, including a quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor, a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal memory, and microSD card support. For a closer look at the device, check out our Asus ZenFone Zoom review.

The ZenFone Zoom currently runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Unfortunately, we don't know if the phone will also be updated to Android 7 Nougat. Anyway, care to buy one?
