After revealing its
new generation ZenFone 5 series, Asus is readying yet another Android smartphone that belongs to the mid-range tier. The unannounced ZenFone Max Pro M1 is expected to be introduced very soon, but details about its price and availability remain a mystery.
Luckily, two pictures of the smartphone published by leakster
Evan Blass offer us a better look at the upcoming Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1. The pictures show the blue and silver variants of the smartphone, as well as some interesting details about its specs such as the dual-rear camera setup and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
According to Blass, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 will be equipped with a
Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB RAM and microSD card slot. Also, the smartphone will offer dual-SIM support among other things.
The ZenFone Max Pro M1 is supposed to offer a “pure Android experience,” which means it should do away with all the bloatware Asus usually includes on its handsets. Other rumors claim the ZenFone Max Pro M1 is actually an
Android One smartphone, but these don't exclude each other.
