Asus ZenFone 5 series confirmed to be unveiled on February 27 at MWC 2018
Great news for ZenFone fans, as Asus has just confirmed its ZenFone 5 series will be officially introduced on February 27. The launch event will take place at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona where we can expect the smartphones to be showcased throughout the entire exhibition.
Asus promised to bring its new ZenFone lineup to market much earlier than last year when the first ZenFone 4 handsets arrived in August / September. This time, however, the new ZenFone 5 smartphones will hit the shelves as early as March / April.
We have little information about the new handsets Asus plans to unveil next month, but the name of two of the smartphones that could be made official on February 27 popped up online earlier this month: Asus ZenFone 5 Lite and Asus ZenFone 5 Max.
With about one month left until the ZenFone 5 event, there's plenty of time to learn more about what Asus has in store for us. Unless the handset maker is guarding its secrets too damn well.
