Even though it's not the first company to provide customers with Android 9 Pie updates, Asus is gearing up to offer those who bout the ROG Phone a major update. One of the most powerful gaming smartphones available on the market, Asus ROG Phone made its debut back in October with Android 8.1 Oreo on board.
However, a recent performance test of the Asus ROG Phone has been recently spotted a Geekbench, the cross-platform processor benchmark that rates mobile devices based on their single-core and multi-core performance, in which it runs Android 9 Pie.
The listing has been recorded on January 8, but it only came to our attention over the weekend. Even so, it will probably take Asus a few more weeks to make release the final build and another week or so to reach all ROG Phone devices out there.
The ROG Phone would be the third Asus smartphone to receive the long-awaited Android 9 Pie update after the ZenFone 5Z and ZenFone 5 got the update last month.
