Asphalt 9: Legends already soft-launched on iOS, Android version coming soon
Fans of car racing mobile games rejoice, as Gameloft almost finished working on the next title in the Asphalt series. The game is dubbed Asphalt 9: Legends and is already available for download on iOS.
Gameloft promises to offer players “a console experience” with detailed real cars, HDR techniques and stunning visuals, as well as particle effects that make the game look almost real. Once again, an Asphalt game allows players the option to collect more than 50 of the world's most iconic roadsters.
Moreover, the game comes with a new car editor to allow players to paint their cars and choose the materials they think will define their cars. Asphalt 9: Legends features a Career mode with over 60 seasons and 800 races available to players.
And, finally, Gameloft's new Asphalt game features a new control scheme called TOUCH DRIVE, which is basically an auto mode. However, players will be able to switch to manual controls if they feel the game is too easy.
Although the game is available for free in the App Store, it's only live in the Philippines. Also, an Android version of Asphalt 9: Legends will be released in the Google Play Store as well.
