Asphalt 9: Legends achieves 4 million downloads in less than a week
Asphalt 9: Legends hasn't been out there for more than a week and developer Gameloft announced its latest game has been downloaded more than 4 million times since release. The French company says the newest installment in the Asphalt series reached the top 5 most downloaded games on iPhone in 150 countries, including USA (#4), United Kingdom (#5), France (#2), Germany (#2), Italy (#2) and Japan (#1).
However, it's worth noting that the 4 million downloads have been achieved on all three platforms the game is currently available on - Android, iOS and Windows 10. Still, that's a more than a decent milestone for an Asphalt game, and, more importantly, people seem to like it as Asphalt 9: Legends has a pretty good rating average (4.6 stars).
The fact that Asphalt 9: Legends was selected as the Editors’ Choice by Apple and appeared in the “Game of the Day” category in most of the App Stores in the world probably helped the game reach a high number of downloads in such a short time.
