Apple starts disseminating iOS 7.1 beta 3 to testers; expect public release in March
Apple's testing partners have started receiving iOS 7.1 beta 3, according to a published report. The report cites a "trusted source" who states that iOS 7.1 fixes a number of bugs while at the same time, adding a number of new features. The source wasn't able to pass along some of the changes, and developers have yet to receive this version of iOS 7.1. That is because the code jockeys just received iOS 7.1 beta 2 less than 2 weeks ago.
According to the "trusted source", the iOS 7.1 update will be made available to the general public in March. Historically, Apple releases an iOS update in January. This year, it is thought that the iOS in the Car feature could be holding back the release. This feature will allow owners of certain autos to have their iPhone screen and settings show up on the dashboard of selected vehicles.
