Apple releases iOS 8.3
Today, Apple has officially rolled out iOS 8.3 to the Apple iPhone 4s , Apple iPhone 5, Apple iPhone 5c, Apple iPhone 5s, Apple iPhone 6 and the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. All Apple iPad models except for the OG version of the slate will receive iOS 8.3, as will the fifth-generation Apple iPod touch. Some of the improvements, according to Apple, include a boost in performance that allows apps to open faster.
Other areas of iOS that users should notice an performance boost in will include Wi-Fi, Safari tabs, third party keyboards, Messages, keyboard shortcuts, the simplified Chinese keyboard and the Control Center. The emoji keyboard also is the subject of some changes as iOS 8.3 improves the emoji picker, offers 300 new emoji choices and adds more skin-tone options to emojis that are supposed to represent people.
The new iOS build also makes some repairs to issues that affect screen rotation, CarPlay, Wi-Fi, Messages and more. Be on the look out for the notification that tells you that iOS 8.3 has hit your device. By the way, iOS 8.4 is expected to include support for Apple's new streaming music feature. That might give iOS users something to look forward to.
