Apple outs international launch date for the iPad - May 28th
US Consumers are still filling up on Apple's latest hot gadget as the device has been available for a few weeks now, but the rest of the world had been given the grim news of seeing the international launch date for the iPad get delayed. Thankfully there is now a concrete date for those eager consumers as Apple outed May 28th as the international launch date for the iPad. Although it's one month later than the original date, the iPad will be available in Canada, Japan, Australia, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland. Unlike the slight wait between the Wi-Fi only and 3G models here in the US, Apple intends on making both models become readily available on the same day. Potential customers can log on to Apple's online store and get themselves a pre-order starting on May 10 – which will be just one process in the eventual reality of finally getting the device. Later in July, Apple expects to launch the iPad in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Singapore. With less than a month away before things go live, Apple better be prepared as there is undoubtedly going to be a demand for the iPad.
