Apple's iPhone 11 event video contains a secret message for 'hard core fans'
Tuesday’s iPhone 11 event was almost 2 hours long. The entire press conference can be viewed on Apple’s YouTube channel but it’s fair to say most people are more interested in watching a short recap. Because of this, Apple has created a 2-minute clip that summarizes the event perfectly but, rather unexpectedly, it also includes a secret message for the ‘hard core fans.’
The video itself covers everything from the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro to the Apple Watch Series 5, Apple TV+, and all-new iPad. However, if you stop the clip right after the narrator says ‘best-selling PC’ at the 1:23 mark you’ll spot a quick message that appears for just six frames.
The surprise reads: "Error 09102019. This is just a thought. But it might be nice to have some sort of easter egg message in here for the hard core Apple fans that will stop the video." It then continues with a bunch of numbers that can be identified as binary. These translate as:
“So you took the time to translate this? We love you.”
