Apple iPad Pro cases surface online revealing possible design and second connector port
The Apple iPad Pro/Plus was rumored to be in the works since October 2013, then said to be cancelled back in March 2014, and then more recently rumored to be back on track for a fall 2015 release. In other words, the iPad Pro has been rumored so many times up to this point that we're not sure what to believe.
The last time we heard about the iPad Pro was a couple of weeks ago, when an alleged leaked iPad Pro chassis was uncovered with what appeared to be a second connector port. Building up on all of these leaks and rumors, a series of allegedly leaked cases for the iPad Pro recently surfaced online, hinting at the possible design of the new tablet.
Although the leaked cases don't reveal too many details, it looks like the upcoming 12.9-inch tablet from Apple will come with a design that's not much unlike the iPad Air line-up, but with the addition of stereo speakers located at the top and bottom of the tablet. Another detail to notice from the leaked iPad Pro cases is a hole on the side for what appears to be a second connector port. Rumors claim that this could be a USB Type-C port, but nothing is certain at this point.
As we can't verify the validity of this leak, make sure to digest this info with a hefty dose of the proverbial salt.
