Apple iPad Air gets November 1st release date on Sprint
Sprint announced on Tuesday night that it will offer the Apple iPad Air with Wi-Fi and Cellular on Friday, November 1st. Later in the month, the carrier will offer the Apple iPad mini with Retina display, also with both Wi-Fi and Cellular. Sprint's tablet plans start as low as $5 a month. The full-sized iPad Air and the smaller iPad mini with Retina display are both powered by a 64-bit A7 processor. Neither tablet will feature the Touch ID fingerprint scanner seen on the Apple iPhone 5s.
The Wi-Fi and Cellular variant of the Apple iPad Air will start at $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB, $829 for 64GB and the 128GB option is priced at $929. The Apple iPad mini with Retina display with Wi-Fi and Cellular starts at $529 for 16GB, $629 for 32GB, $729 for 64GB and $829 for 128GB.
