Apple debuts iPad television commercial during the Academy Awards

Usually, the morning after the Academy Awards telecast, workers unite around the water cooler and ask, "Who won Best Actor?" or, "Who was Best Actress?" and "What film was named Best Picture?". This year, you are more likely to hear, "Did you see that iPad commercial? I'm gonna get one as soon as it is launched." Yes, Apple debuted its commercial for the tablet during the Oscars, promoting the April 3rd launch date. As we previously reported, the company is taking pre-orders for the device on March 12th. The Wi-Fi version of the iPad will be the first out of the starting gate to be followed in late April or early May with the Wi-Fi/3G model.
