Apple already working on iOS 7.0.1 and 7.1 updates
iOS 7 is coming out of beta and is being released in full tomorrow, but that doesn't mean that the work is done. There will undoubtedly be bugs in the software, as there are with all software. And, it looks like Apple is already working on those bug fixes both big and small. A new report says that not only is Apple
already working on iOS 7.0.1, but it is working on the first major update of iOS 7.1.
Both iOS 7.0.1 and 7.0.2 have shown up in analytics reports, although those reports are notoriously easy to fool. But, BGR has gotten its hands on an actual iOS 7.0.1 update. Unfortunately, there is no word on what fixes had to be pushed to iOS 7.0.1 and couldn't be taken care of during the three months that iOS 7 was in beta.
As for iOS 7.1, the assumption is that it will be a bigger update, and that it will be announced as part of the iPad event that is expected to happen sometime next month. There will be an iPad 5 and an iPad mini 2, and maybe more on iOS 7.1 then. But, we'll have to wait and see.
