Apple Watch landing at Best Buy, wider availability master plan engaged

The Apple Watch can currently be had in flesh and blood at Apple's Stores, or ordered online in all of its hundreds of variations. It's all about to change, though, as Apple announced it will start selling it in 100 Best Buy locations across the nation on August 8th, expanding those to 300 come November. The Best Buy stores will be stocking on the Watch Sport, and the regular Watch versions, no Editions for thousands of USD will be available.

We’re very bullish on the Watch being one of the key, top holiday gifts and want to have it in more places than we currently have it,” said the CEO Tim Cook during an interview recently, and apparently raiding Best Buy is one part of this strategy. The Apple Watch went on sale on April 24th, with wider availability coming much later - Mr Cook commented that Apple's fresh accessory was only available at 680 places in the end of June. Well, this is all about to change come Augutst 8th now.
