Apple Music update brings new Coming Soon section, album launch dates on iOS
Apple Music is currently receiving a new update that brings some nifty improvements to the iOS app. A couple of new sections have now appeared in the Apple Music app for iOS, such as Coming Soon, which enables subscribers to find new albums that will soon be released.
You'll find the new Coming Soon section in the Browse tab / New Music / Coming Soon. Make sure to click on “See All” to be able to check out all new albums coming out over the next few weeks.
Speaking of albums, Apple Music users can now see an album's launch date on their respective pages on iOS. There are albums that will not appear in the Coming Soon section even though they have a release date that would normally include in this menu. Good that Apple has made it possible to see these launch dates on each album's page.
Finally, there's one more change that's only available on the macOS – a redesigned artists profiles page, which now includes a “Featured Release” section, and a “Play” button. This redesign hasn't been made available to iOS user yet, but it might be pushed out in a future update.
