Another 45 banks and credit unions gain support for Android Pay
Although CES 2017 might be underway, that doesn't mean that the rest of the news world stops. While most of the tech-related happenings are taking place here in Las Vegas, there's still other non-CES related news that tends to get swept under the radar during this time of year. One such bit of news has to do with the fact that Google just added support for 45 additional banks and credit unions for their Android Pay mobile payment platform.
Google has been working on growing Android Pay ever since it was first released, allowing more and more people all across the globe to experience the convenience that's brought by using your phone to pay for groceries, household items, electronics, etc.
The list of financial institutions that are gaining support for the platform include the following -
