Android users are now able to join iPhone owners in using the iConcertCal app to find out when their favorite artists will be in town to perform a concert. The app identifies the name of musical acts in your library and then displays a calendar of concerts being performed in your area by this act. Using JamBase as a source of info, the app will also show you upcoming concerts in your area broken down by venue, distance from a specific location like your house, and even allow you to change your default state in case you take that extended vacation you were planning. Unlike the iPhone version, the Android app will show you upcoming album releases from your fave music acts. Both the Android and iPhone versions will cost you $2.99. Owners of handsets using Google's open source OS can buy the app from Android Market, or by clicking the button on the source link.
