Amazon offers Android smartphone buyers $15 worth in credits
More of a reason to buy an Android powered smartphone through Amazon than other places, the online retailing giant is actually offering a special incentive for those customers intent on picking up any device featuring the green little droid.
Specifically, customers will be issued a total of $15 in credits with the purchase of any Android powered smartphone, which can be used afterwards for various Amazon content. Luckily, the promotion is valid for any new Android smartphone purchases made between July 11 and October 11, 2011 – with the $15 worth of credits set to expire on November 12, 2012 if they’re not used up. As it stands, the $15 in credits break down to three $5 credits that are specifically used for the Amazon App Store, Amazon MP3 Store, and the Kindle Store.
Needless to say, some would naturally prefer a flat out $15 in savings towards the purchase of their device, but nonetheless, these credits will ensure that owners will be keeping their devices up-to-date with specific content purchased with the various credits.
