Amazon is finally set to start selling the PlayBook on June 1st; pre-orders available now
Although it has been readily available through a variety of nationwide retailers, such as Best Buy and Staples, Amazon is finally stepping forward in selling the BlackBerry PlayBook.
Previously, the online retailer did offer pre-orders for the 7” tablet, but it was actually through third party retailers, which primarily resulted in attaching exorbitant costs to its total price. Luckily, it seems that Amazon is going to be selling the tablet at its normal price, but it won’t be released until June 1st. However, you can always fetch yourself a pre-order with them if you can’t seem to track down any stores around your location that have stock of it.
In terms of pricing, it starts at $499 for the 16GB version, $599 for 32GB, and $699 for the 64GB one – while still having free shipping with all of them. Therefore, if you simply don’t want to travel around looking for one, then maybe this might be your best option?
