Tablets are sort of having an identity crisis. They aspire to replace laptops but if you are not a part of the hustle culture and have not forgotten how to relax, a no-frills tablet with just the right amount of power for casual tasks might just be what you need. Samsung's portable Galaxy Tab A7 Lite might be what you are looking for and currently, it's absurdly affordable.
The Tab A7 Lite has an 8.7-inch screen so it's light and comfortable to hold. Game controls are also easier to reach. It's powered by the Mediatek Helio P22T and performance is satisfactory for browsing the web, reading e-books, using apps, and doing light gaming.
The base model has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and there is also a microSD slot for storage expansion. It also has a port for wired headphones.
The device is very portable and can be shoved easily into bags or backpacks. There is a 5,100mAh battery under the hood and it will get you through a whole day of normal usage.
Truth be told, this is not a remarkable tablet by any means. But its small size, microSD slot, headphone jack, and low price are what make it unique and worth recommending. So, even though you will not be wowed by any specific feature, the overall package is unbeatable at this price. And the cherry on top is that it's even cheaper right now.
The Tab A7 Lite usually costs $159.99 but Amazon has marked it down by 20 percent. That's an awesome price for a super-portable tablet that's great for everyday use and casual tablet stuff.
