Amazon U.K. resumes sales of the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL

Just yesterday, we told you that sales of the Microsoft Lumia 950 XLhad been halted by Amazon in the U.K. and in France. While the online retailer didn't give a specific reason for the sales halt, we told you that it was possible that the phone was being sent to Microsoft to be updated with the latest OS and firmware versions. Phones sold on the site by third parties were not affected.

Whatever the problem was, and we may never know for sure, Amazon U.K. has resumed selling the handset today. Amazon's U.K. and French websites yesterday featured a special notice that said Amazon was not offering the phone for sale because "customers have told us that there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are dispatching it, or the way its described here." That is a pretty vague statement.

The website lists the Lumia 950 XL as being available for $0 down, and 27.50 British Pounds a month ($40.47 USD) with either a new line, or an upgrade. The retail price of the handset is 439.99 British Pounds ($648 USD). You can choose between buying the phone in White or Black.
