Alleged official invitation claims Huawei Mate 10 will be announced on October 16

Huawei Mate 10 will probably the last major flagship to be introduced this year, but the Chinese company says that it will worth the wait. Even the official invitation to Huawei's launch event promises that you won't be sorry if you won't cave in and buy another top-tier phone.

But how long you'll have to wait for the Huawei Mate 10 to arrive? Well, according to this invitation, the Mate 10 will be announced on October 16, which comes in line with a previous report claiming the flagship will be unveiled on that date.

The event is set to take place in Munich, Germany, but can't vouch for the accuracy of the information since we haven't received the invitation yet. One thing that's most likely accurate is the fact that Huawei Mate 10 will not be introduced before Apple's iPhones.

Huawei has just begun the mass-production of the Kirin 970 SoC, which will power the Mate 10, so it's hard to believe the Chinese company will be able to start shipping the flagship in September.

All in all, Huawei fans have now something to hope for, although they'll have to wait for all other major handset makers to unveil their high-end smartphones before being able to get the Mate 10.
