Alleged iPhone 5S display front pops up in high-res, no visible changes to the home key cutout
Want to see DSLR-quality pictures of the new display assembly for the iPhone 5S front and back? Sized up with the iPhone 5 one, too? The vast swaths of the Chinese blogosphere have got you covered, as a publication posted the alleged iPhone 5S LCD screen and digitizer, glued to the front panel of the upcoming iPhone 2013 edition, and shot in perfect clarity in a white box.
If the shots are legit, we aren't looking at much changes externally, but the difference in video cabling shows we will have more to chew under the hood. The biggest novelty with the iPhone 5S is rumored to be some sort of a fingerprint recognition, eventually built into the home key, which will serve as the gateway for a new payment system Apple might introduce.
We've heard already that the home key might be made out of sapphire glass and have the fingerprint sensor embedded, but given we have the same cutout here like we have on the iPhone 5, the whole concept is becoming a bit doubtful. What do you think?
