Alleged Note 6 model numbers leak: single version for US carriers, and an European edition this time
Late last year, we had a grand leak that listed all the Galaxy S7 model numbers, which turned out to be credible, as those are exactly the codenames that Samsung now refers to when denoting the S7 and S7 edge, and they were even split by chipset models, just as it turned out to be the case in the end.
Today, we get another huge Samsung model number leak, this time of the upcoming Galaxy Note 6 (Project Grace) and, surprise, surprise, there are letters that usually denote European models in the list. Thus, Samsung might have ditched the controversial strategy that introduced georestrictions on the Note 5 and S6 edge+ last year, leaving the fifth member of the Note family out of offer on the Old Continent, at least officially.
As you can see in the table below, there is a version with EUR abbreviation at the end of the list, plus the model numbers seem to have been streamlined on the whole, with the US getting only one version with different carrier settings, which should speed up the software update process for the upcoming Note 6.
