Alleged HTC One X9 shows up again, black and silver variants spotted
Initially believed to be a high-end smartphone, the unannounced HTC One X9 will likely be just a mid-range device, or at least that's what the latest details about it are leading us to believe.
Not long ago, we saw an image allegedly showing a white One X9, and now, thanks to another leaked image, we can take a look at what seem to be the handset's black and silver variants.
When viewed from the front, the X9 resembles one of HTC's older Butterfly smartphones, namely the Butterfly S. The back is a different story, though, having a special area that houses the rear camera (possibly a 13 MP one) and a dual LED flash.
Expected to be released in the first months of 2016, the HTC One X9 should sport a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels, while being powered by a MediaTek processor (unknown model). Other rumored features include a 4 MP UltraPixel front-facing camera, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage space, and a 3000 mAh battery. Since the recently released One A9 is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, we assume the One X9 will come with Marshmallow, too.
