Alleged Asus ZenFone 5 shows its iPhone X-like notch in live picture
Asus has already confirmed that its next wave of Android smartphones will be unveiled on February 27 during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 trade fair. At least two devices will be introduced later this month: Asus ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5 Lite.

The standard ZenFone 5 model is expected to feature the same notch that made the iPhone X so popular among other smartphone makers, which are now planning to include the design change into many of their products.

Asus ZenFone 5 allegedly leaked in a live picture that confirms the inclusion of the so-called “lip,” which is supposed to make room for the front camera, earpiece and a few sensors. Just like many other smartphones already available on the market, the ZenFone 5 will pack an 18:9 display.

Android 8.0 Oreo will be on board as well, along with USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio port. On the back, the upcoming ZenFone 5 series handset is likely to feature a dual-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor.

The Asus ZenFone 5 will be available in two variants, including a dual-SIM model. Both will be made out of glass and aluminum materials. We have yet to learn when exactly the new ZenFone 5 smartphones will be available for purchase and how much they will cost, but it won't be long until we get more info on the matter.
