Alcatel Idol 4S is coming to the US, pre-orders open July 15th
After its official announcement – back in February, during MWC 2016 – the Alcatel Idol 4S is finally coming to the US bundled with a VR headset, as promised.
The Alcatel Idol 4s will be available for pre-order through Alcatel's website beginning 11:00am EST on July 15th for $349.99. The handset will be bundled with a VR headset, JBL headphones, a 2.5D tempered glass screen protector and a protective case.

The bundle will officially go on-sale on August 3rd for $399.99 exclusively through Alcatel's US online store. The Idol 4S comes unlocked and is compatible with all US wireless providers.
Not much has changed since the handset's announcement back in February, apart from Alcatel adding a fingerprint scanner. The phone sports a 5.5-inch 1440 x 2560 AMOLED display with a pixel density of 534 ppi, backed with a mid-range Snapdragon 652 CPU and 3 GB of RAM. During our hands-on with the Alcatel Idol 4S, we became quite fond of its elegant and polished design and how it felt in the hand. Last but not least, it's great that Alcatel is set to keep its word by bundling the handset with a VR headset.
