Alcatel is expected to introduce a handful of Android smartphones at IFA in early September. A few of them have already been leaked such as the Alcatel U5 HD, A3 Plus, and A7 XL.

But these are not the only device Alcatel plans to announce in less than two weeks. Apparently, there's a regular Alcatel A7 on the way as well, which be launched alongside the A7 XL model.

The Alcatel A7 is a solid mid-range smartphone that runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It's powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor, coupled with either 3 or 4GB RAM, and 32GB expandable storage.

The phone is supposed to sport a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display. Information about its camera configuration is a bit vague, but rumor has it Alcatel A7 comes with a dual-camera setup and a secondary 8-megapixel selfie shooter in the front.

It appears that Alcatel A7 will cost only €250 in Europe, but it might be much cheaper in other regions like Asia and North America if it will go on sale in these regions.
