Affordable Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE launches this week on AT&T
AT&T just announced that it's going to launch a new Android tablet this week: the Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE (model number ME375CL). The new slate will be available to buy starting April 10, the day when AT&T will also release the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, as well as the HTC One M9 (of course, the M9 can already be ordered online).
AT&T's MeMO Pad 7 isn't the Full HD model that Asus announced this year, but a variant of the tablet unveiled in September 2014. Thus, the device sports a 7-inch IPS display with 800 x 1200 pixels and anti-fingerprint coating, while running Android 4.4 KitKat. It further features dual front-facing speakers, a 2 MP front-facing camera, 5 MP rear camera, a quad-core Intel Atom processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal memory.

Customers will be able to buy the MeMO Pad 7 LTE for $74.99 with a 2-year contract agreement, or for $8.75 per month for 20 months with AT&T's Tablet Installment plan. The new slate will also be available as a GoPhone device, starting April 24, for $174.99 (no contract required). In addition, if you buy "any smartphone on AT&T Next" you'll be able to get the Asus MeMO Pad LTE for as low as $0.99.
