Acer adds "Acer liquidmini" to its Froyo lineup, headed to Europe
After the recent announcement of the beTouch E210, the Acer liquidminifollows suit dressed as the next contender in the Android lineup. The liquidmini is headed to Europe, where users will get what looks like a mid-range device with a multitouch 3.2 inch LCD screen with a resolution 480 x 320 and with 600 MHz of processing power on a Qualcomm 7227 chip.
The phone has 512MB of RAM and a 5 megapixel snapper capable of recording 480p videos. Connectivity is pretty standard with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, but DLNA is a great addition for an affordable handset. European customers will get the phone in five color varieties - blue, white, pink, yellow and black. If it's not the specs, it's the colors that catch the eye. The phone is expected to hit shelves in April and will surely be affordable, but no word on just how affordable. It definitely has the looks of its Liquid Metal sibling, and it might borrow a thing or two from it, so in the meantime take a look at our in-depth review here.
