Acer Liquid M220 (upgradeable to Windows 10) now available to buy, free Nokia headphones included
The Acer Liquid M220, a handset that was announced back in March, is now finally available to buy in the US. As previously reported, the new Acer smartphone can be purchased from Microsoft Store, unlocked, costing $79.99. While supplies last, Microsoft is offering a free pair of Nokia headphones to customers who are buying the M220.

At just $79.99, the Acer Liquid M220 obviously competes with low-end handsets like the Microsoft Lumia 435. Its specs are nothing to write home about, including: a 4-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels, HSPA+ connectivity, a dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, microSD card support, and a 1300 mAh battery. The M220 also features a 2 MP front-facing camera, and a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash. Running Windows Phone 8.1, the new Liquid smartphone will be updated to Windows 10 later this year.

The Acer Liquid M220 is also available from Microsoft Store Canada (for 99.99 CAD, no free headphones included), and from various retailers in Russia (for around $89). Is anyone planning to buy it?
