The
Acer Liquid E2 has been introduced. The model features a 4.5 inch qHD display, a quad-core processor, and an 8MP camera on back with zero-shutter lag. That means whatever you see in the viewfinder is what the picture will display. The front-facing camera weighs in at 2MP. The handset has the usual capabilities and features like GPS, Wi-Fi and is Bluetooth enabled. You know the drill. What it also has is support for dual SIM cards, allowing you to have multiple lines. There is no LTE connectivity on the model, but it does offer 4G through its support for 42Mbps HSPA+.
The Acer Liquid E2 should have Android 4.1 installed at the very least, with an outside chance that Android 4.2 might be on the phone out of the box. The device will be priced at €229 ($298 USD) and comes in black or white. Acer will launch the phone in the middle of next month in Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, France, Spain, UK, Italy, Germany, and Russia. We wouldn't expect to see this unit making any waves stateside.
