Acer ICONIA TAB A200 receives Bluetooth certification, poses for the camera
What you see pictured below is what might be the very next tablet to join Acer's lineup. Known as the Acer ICONIA TAB A200, the slate has been spotted over at the Bluetooth SIG web page along with a brief description and a photo revealing what the device may look like once it comes out.
Although it doesn't reveal much, the short overview of the ICONIA TAB A200 mentions that it is “lightweight and smaller than a magazine”. It also says that the device runs on the “tablet-tailored Android operating system”, but the exact version of the platform remains unclear. What we also know with certainty about the device is that it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a front-facing camera and that is pretty much it at this time.
Judging by the tablets that Acer has launched so far, the ICONIA TAB A200 will probably offer good value for its money. Whether that will be the case or not we will know once we get our hands on it, if the tablet ever sees the light of day, that is.
