AccuWeather now reigns on your wrist
AccuWeather has been around since 1962, adopting its current name in 1971. Besides the numerous television and radio deals the company has, it also provides weather information and forecasts to smartphones and tablets. The company's Android app has received an update that adds support for AccuWeather to Android Wear enabled smartwatches.
The update does more than just allow Android Wear users to see a card with some temperatures on it. Those opening the AccuWeather app on their Android Wear supported timepiece will receive current temperature and conditions, forecasts, precipitation and more. To get to the app on your watch, you can navigate to it, or use voice commands.
AccuWeather says that its Android Wear service provides the same degree of accuracy (no pun intended) found with its other mobile services. Both the free and paid versions of the app are getting updated and are receiving the Android Wear Support. You can check out both versions of the app in the Google Play Store.
