Access Google Music on Windows Phone 7 with CloudMuzik
Google Music Beta, the company’s cloud-based music service, was originally released for use on the web and Android devices. Back in September, Google showed Apple users some love by releasing a web app tailored specifically for iOS devices.
With no word on a Windows Phone 7 app, Jeremy Sinclair, who also goes by the handle ‘snicker’ on XDA-Developers, was tired of forcing Google Music Beta through his browser, so he decided to cook up some homebrew. He has created an app called CloudMuzik, which “is a Google Music player made to work specifically for WP7 phones.”

Snicker says there is a possibility, in the future, that the app could stream music from other sources, but he isn’t making any promises. Right now, though, he does have a limited amount of slots open for beta testers. Interested parties can get a hold of him through XDA-Developers to request the XAP.

- Search for individual song, artist or album
- Background art for each artist
- Seeking through songs
- Ability to play songs in the background
