Verizon recently announced that the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge is ready to be deployed, but then removed the official changelog from its website. Well, it looks like AT&T hasn't posted the anything about an Oreo update for the Galaxy S7/S7 edge yet, but a rollout has definitely begun.
Many AT&T customers report they have been able to capture the long-awaited Android 8.0 Oreo update on their Galaxy S7/S7 edge devices, and they have screenshots to prove it. As expected, this is a pretty sizable update weighing in at around 1.8GB, so make sure you have enough storage left on your phone.
The not so good news is the update comes with an older April security patch, but we certain AT&T will correct that in a future update. If you own an AT&T Galaxy S7/S7 edge, then you should be looking for an update with build number G93xAUCU4CRE4.
Also, it's worth mentioning that the update is first pushed out to a limited number of Galaxy S7/S7 edge units, but a broader rollout is expected to commence in the next few days.
