Call it fall cleaning or something, but AT&T is making it extremely affordable for anyone to own a Windows Mobile smartphone. It's tough to say if it's just a strategy to possibly make some room for the impending launch of Windows Phone 7 during the holiday season, but all current Windows Mobile handsets on AT&T's lineup are priced at $0.01 with an accompanying contract. Sure we've seen a good majority of them priced at that or even free through indirect channels like Amazon or Wirefly, but this is straight up AT&T we're talking about – which means you're not obligated in adding specific plan offerings to receive the fantastic deals. So if you've been eying that HTC Tilt 2 or LG eXpo, then you might want to check out their web site for this special promotion. It's unclear how long this will run, but you'd better act quick before it's gone forever.
