AT&T finally gets its version of the Google Nexus S - going on sale July 24th
Well that certainly took some time! But after arriving on the scene more than half a year ago, AT&T customers can now rejoice in knowing that the carrier is getting its own specific version of the beloved Google Nexus S.
Actually, this AT&T optimized Nexus S is slated to land in Best Buy stores nationwide starting this weekend – July 24th. In terms of features, this Gingerbread powered smartphone doesn’t deviate from what we’ve been seeing with other versions of the handset as it retains things like its 4” Super AMOLED touchscreen, 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel auto-focus camera, front-facing camera, Wi-Fi-, Bluetooth, and NFC support. Sadly though, it’s only being offered as a 3G enabled device, as opposed to the recent 4G offering with Sprint’s version.
If you can’t wait until Sunday to pick one up, you can sleep soundly knowing that pre-orders are available starting today – with its 2-year contract price set at $99.99. Needless to say, its pricing is rather fitting for its stature, and we’re sure that some people will no doubt still pick it up. So do you plan on buying one over some of the other offerings available with AT&T? Or is it just a little bit too late at this point?
