AT&T Moto X now getting Android 4.4 KitKat update
The Android 4.4 KitKat update has begun its rollout to most Nexus devices. It also started rolling out to the Verizon Moto X a few days ago, and to the T-Mobile Moto X yesterday. Now, it is AT&T's turn to get in on the KitKat goodness. We had heard just a couple days ago that the AT&T Moto X soak test had started for the update, and now KitKat is rolling out on the carrier.
Once again, there isn't anything carrier specific to the update for AT&T users. It includes the same features like the KitKat dialer, UI tweaks, and photo editing tools; and, the Motorola enhancements for the camera which allows you to drag your finger on the screen to change focus and exposure.
This means that the only updates left for for the Moto X variants are the Sprint model and the U.S. Cellular model. After that, it will just be a matter of Motorola working on the Android 4.4 update for the other six devices it has promised to update, which include the new DROID devices, the old DROID RAZR devices, and even the ATRIX HD.
